1897 2½d on 6d dull purple and green, type 8 surcharge, upper left corner block of 10 (5x2) with plate number, large part o.g. (nine stamps unmounted). Slight imperfections (mostly confined to margins) still a very useful multiple, the type 7 opt misplaced upwards leaving 'PENCE' of 'SIX PENCE' clear, the right pair with prominent break in opt lines, and showing constant surcharge varieties Broken stem of 'd' (R1/3), Square full stop (R2/3), and Broken large '2' (R2/5).
