1868 (JUL 4) cover (orange envelope) from Charlottetown to Mount Stewart, franked by 1862-69 1d yellow-orange, perf 11½-12 (x2), tied by individual strikes of '13' numeral with sender's 'CARVELL BROS / JUL 4 1868 / CHARLOTTETOWN P.E.I.' oval ds in green and superb 'PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND' unframed cds dated '6 JUL 1868' at left. Slight opening faults and minor discoloration to envelope, still an attractive and uncommon usage. - P267000556
