1849 (JY 18) cover (with contents) from Quebec to Boston, endorsed 'Paid to the Lines', showing on face fine strikes of the 'PAID / AT / QUEBEC L.C.' crowned-circle and 'QUEBEC / L.C.' despatch cds, both in red, with m/s rate notation and boxed '5' at right. Backstamped at Montreal (JA 20). The flap partially detatched and rejoined otherwise a neat and attractive cover, the despatch cds dated July in error (confirmed by the enclosed letter, which is datelined 11 Dec 1848). - P267000306
