1921 (NOV 26) cover from St John's to Halifax, Nova Scotia (typed address), franked by 1921 35c red with type 72 opt (2¾mm space between 'AIR' and 'MAIL'), tied by machine cancel. The flight from Botwood did not take off until 10th December and was eventually abandoned, with the mail forwarded by train. Halifax arrival backstamp of 'FEB 4 1922' as usual.
