Long Island SG 30 Mint 1916 2d black on thin wove top sheet

1916 (7 May) 2d black on thin wove, typewritten (top sheet) with initials in indelible pencil, unused. Very fine and rare. Only two sheets of 24 existed (with a further six black carbon sheets), with just 16 unused examples, including a unique block of 8 and a single in the Royal Philatelic Collection, recorded by Gibbs.
