1907 (AP 15) cover from St Kitts to New York, correctly franked by 1905-08 2½d dull purple and ultramarine, chalk-surfaced paper, tied by 'A12' duplex (Oliver type S6). Minor envelope blemishes, but a very scarce franking. [The stamp originates from Req. 109/05 (104 sheets), the entirety of which was sent to St Kitts. It's likely that a good portion of this supply was destroyed when supplies of the Universal Colour Scheme 2½d bright blue were received in August 1907.] - P267000691
