1905 (4 OC) locally addressed 'ON POSTAL SERVICE' cover, bearing 1903-04 1r to 5r and 1904-07 ½a to 8a (representing all the stamps available at the time), cancelled/tied by fine to very fine strikes of 'NAIROBI / E.A.P.' cds (the five high values individually cancelled). Vertical folds (one affecting the 4r) and some toning, nevertheless a spectactular showpiece with the rupee values rarely seen on any cover. - P267000791
