1854 (15 Oct)-55 4a deep blue (close to indigo) and red, head die II, frame die I, from second printing (Dec. 1854), horizontal pair (pos. 1-2 on sheet) with watermark inverted, neatly cancelled by individual diamonds of dots which leave profile virtually clear on left stamp. Fine colour with even external margins, larger than usually found. A rare and desirable pair, ex Atal (CRL 2/3/1993, lot 78, then misdescribed as pos. 9-10). - P267001763
