Chefoo. 1908 (22 FE) registered cover to USA, correctly franked at 20c (10c postage + 10c registration) by Hong Kong 1907-11 4c carmine-red, 6c orange-vermilion & purple, and 10c bright ultramarine, tied by three strikes of 'CHEFOO / BRITISH.P.O' cds (Proud type D1) with matching registration h/s (type R2) at lower left. Backstamped with 'Native Customs, / Chefoo, 22.February, 1908.' d/s and at San Francisco (MAR 28) and Middletown (APR 2). Very fine, the 6c rarely seen on cover. - P267000354
