1867-83 10s greenish grey, wmk Maltese Cross, horizontal pair lettered FF-FG, beautifully cancelled by individual superb strikes of 'GEORGE STREET B.O. / EDINR' cds, dated 'JY 26 82'. A rare and highly attractive pair, almost perfectly centred with wonderfully fresh colour. An outstanding exhibition piece. Ex The "Victoriana" Collection (Spink 4 Oct 2007, lot 2313 - realised £9200!) with BPA cert (2020). SG128. P267000104
