Illustrated Envelopes. 1919 (16 NOV) hand illustrated and coloured cover (235 x 170mm) from Wandsworth to Rotherhithe, Woollard correspondence, franked by 1912-24 1½d red-brown, tied by Wandsworth rubber cds, and with original contents. Minor edge blemishes (and lightly toned on reverse) still fine for a larger envelope, depicting a lonely beach scene showing a child holding a homemade red flag sitting in front of a fire with a sailing ship visible in the distance.
