1893 (AU 4) registered printed commercial cover ('The African Trading Compy.') from Cape Coast to Scotland, correctly franked at 4½d (2½d postage + 2d registration) by 1884-91 ½d green and 4d deep mauve, tied by individual fine to very fine strikes of '556' numeral with double-ring 'CAPE COAST / GOLD COAST' despatch cds (Proud type D6) alongside. The face additionally with 'R' in oval at left and Liverpool registered oval (10 SP) at right. Backstamped with sender's cachet in violet, and 'REGISTERED / GLASGOW SORTING TENDER' railway TPO cds (SP 11). Minor cover marks, still fine and scarce. - P267001079
