c.1900 De La Rue Dummy stamp. Very fine cleared head die proof of the Britannia design in black on white glazed card excised with a red line. The partial solid shading at the back of the head never occurred in the accepted design, the red line presumably indicating it was rejected. Unusual. - P223009242
