1845 Maritime mail. Very fine cover to London posted on board a channel steamer, rated in manuscript '1/3' for an up to ¬Ωoz letter, cancelled upon arrival with the scarce London boxed 'M-B' (Moveable box, Robertson type MB1) handstamp in black with a red Ship-Letter/London (Robertson type S28) datestamp for DE.16.1845 on reverse. Scarce, very unusual to find the two handstamps in different colours. - P212021024
