1841 1d Red-brown Pl.33. Very fine used close to large four margin example lettered DB, neatly tied to a clean cover to Edinburgh by a fine strike of a distinctive Norwich MC in black. Backstamped by a Norwich dispatch datestamp for DE.12.1843 a London transit cds for the same day and an Edinburgh arrival for DE.14.1843. Wonderful strike of this difficult cancellation. Spec.
