Very fine entire sent from Wells to Bruton via Shepton Mallet endorsed "8" in manuscript at top indicating the 1d fifth clause charge and the General Post charge from Shepton Mallet to Bruton (30-50 Miles) with a black, boxed "Sheptn Mallet/5''-ClausePost". Bearing a "WELLS-S 129" Millage mark on reverse. An attractive example of this scarce handstamp. B Willcocks & Jay Spec.
