South Georgia. 1911 (DE 16) German South Polar Expedition ppc (Expedition ship "Deutschland" on manouevres) addressed to Berlin, franked (on reverse) by Falkland Is 1904-12 2½d ultramarine, tied by type SG1 'SOUTH / GEORGIA' cds, with PAIR of red perforated expedition labels at upper left, tied by light strike of the four-line 'Polarschiff Deutschland / Sud-Georgien / Grytviken / 10. Dezember 1911' cachet in violet. Very fine, and most unusual with a pair of expedition labels. - P267000598
