Postal Fiscal. 1918 £5 on 1s green and black, horizontal pair, and 1914 10s purple and green, tied to small piece by complete strike of violet 'ASSISTANT RESIDENT MAGISTRATE / KANYE' oval ds, dated '17 FEB 1919', with each stamp additionally signed in red ink. A splendid and very rare item, in exceptional condition. [Barefoot states that only 33 examples are recorded, of which three are unused and one has a postal cancellation.] P267000014
