1883-86 6d lilac, wmk CA, the dangerous photo-litho forgery by Sperati, "used" with forged "A11" cancel (type 1). Watermark and perforations are genuine, but the stamp impression (and cancel) are forged. Very fine. One of Sperati‚Äö√Ñ√≤s last forgeries, made in Aug 1953, with the master forger's pencil signature on reverse. Ex Sir Gawaine Baillie (Sotheby's 17 Jan 2007, lot 753, realised £437). - P234000377
