1901 3c on 16c chestnut and ultramarine, type 5 surcharge, block of 9 showing variety Malformed 'S' on upper right stamp (R7/3, left pane), part o.g. Some perf tones (not affecting variety) and adhesions on gum (two normals with small thins) but overall fine appearance with fresh colour. Only 260 sheets surcharged (some possibly from the early printing without malformed 'S'), and a very scarce block. (cat £351+) - P212014554
