1875 (Aug 16) 1s (type 38), De La Rue die proof in BLACK (issued colour) on glazed card (92x60mm), stamped 'BEFORE HARDENING' at upper right and dated at upper left. Very fine and rare. A beautiful proof. [N.B. Both the die and the printing plate were despatched to the Govt Printing Office in Sydney, where the stamps were to be printed.] - P212001704
