KUT 1938 SG144a Mint unmounted KGVI 50c perf 13x11æ variety Rope not joined to sail

1938-54 50c purple and black, perf 13x11¾, first printing, upper marginal block of 4 with guide cross, the lower left stamp variety "Rope not joined to sail" (R2/5), unmounted o.g. (hinged in margin). Marginal bends and characteristic yellowish patchy gum, but actually far above average for this. One of the finest we have handled for many years.
