1938-54 50c purple and black, perf 13x11¨√¶, first printing, folded block of 20 (10x2) being the upper two rows of a sheet with guide cross and sheet number "2573", R2/5 showing variety "Rope not joined to sail" (R2/5), o.g. (hinged on one normal only). Typical patchy yellowish gum, and tiny traces of perf toning mentioned for accuracy, still attractive and very rare in this fully positional form. (cat £825+) - P223013891
