Telegraph. 1900 (24 Feb) 2r purple "FOREIGN BILL" with type T37 "TELEGRAPH." opt, and clearly showing watermark INVERTED, o.g. Couple of short perfs and some typical surface discoloration (the fiscal stamp having been printed 39 years previously), still a fine and most interesting example of this distinctive rarity. With the "G" in the opt noticeably smaller and from a different ("antique") font, which we have not seen before. (cat £600+). - P201002071
