Illustrated Envelopes. 1902 (SP 19) hand painted cover to Bristol, Edwards correspondence, franked by 1902-10 1d scarlet (faded), tied by 'LONDON N.W' cds and backstamped with Bristol arrival cds for the following day. Minor mounting adhesions on reverse, still a superb cover depicting a young lady holding an envelope (to scale) which bears the address. Painted by George Henry Edwards (1859-1918 - exhibitor at the Royal Academy 1896-1900) and probably sent to his daughter. - P267000810
