Very fine prepaid incoming cover from Chemnitz to Manchester, prepaid by a Saxony 2ngr. blue and 5ngr. dull violet tied by boxed Chemnitz datestamps for JA.26.1867, with a red boxed 'Recomandirt' handstamp at upper right. Also showing a large red boxed 'P.D.' handstamp, Crown/REGISTERD handstamp of the Aachen transit office, the scarce PRUSSIA/Crown/REGISTERED handstamp of the London foreign branch and a Registered/London arrival datestamp for JA.28.1867.
