1857 Overseas mail. Very fine printed "Union Assurance" envelope sent from London to Hanover, Germany bearing a horizontal pair of 4d rose-carmine (SG66), neatly tied by London E.C. "76" duplexes for FE.16.1860 with a red Aachen transit datestamp below for FE.18.1860 with a red 'P' handstamp. Lovely deep colour, a wonderful internally printed advertisement envelope. - P212016444
