1854 Registered mail. Very attractive single rate cover from Liverpool to Willemstad, Holland prepaid at the 1s7d rate (1s1d plus 6d registration) by a strip three 1d red-brown Pl.195 (SG17), 2d pale blue Pl.4 (SG20) and a large four margin 1s green (SG55). The 2d and 1s cancelled by Liverpool '466' numerals, the 1d strip placed at lower left and initially missed at Liverpool and cancelled by a manuscript cross. London 'Crown/REGISTERED' handstamp at top and a London tombstone datestamp at right for NO.30.1854. Liverpool and Wilemstadt datestamps on reverse for NO.29.1854 and DE.2.1854 respectively.
