1854 Missent/Late Fee mail. Very fine cover prepaid by a 1d red-brown (SG17) neatly tied by London Inland section late-fee '38' duplex (with chamfered corners) for MY.6.1854. Addressed to Cheltenham with a red oval 'Missent/to/Hertford' handstamp at lower left. Red Hertford and Cheltenham datestamps on reverse for the 7th and 8th respectively. Scarce marking. - P201006379
