1841 1d Red-brown Pl.32. Very fine good to very large four margin example lettered HJ, neatly tied to a clean uncreased entire by a crisp London No.12 MC. Addressed to Tenterden, Kent with London and Tenterden datestamps on reverse for JY.8+9.1843 respectively. Very scarce to find the No.12 MC used on a single rate franking. Spec. BS21ul. - P234000027
