CEYLON 1866 SG61/2, 63b, 69b Cancel

1866-68 3d with very fine "56" numeral cancel of Kaits (double strike, one inverted), 1867-70 1d deep blue with "57" of Mansar (clear part strike), 1866-68 1d and 1867-70 9d, both with fine "60" of Pallai, and 1866-68 1d (defective) and 3d each with nearly full "62" of Vallovettytorre. A remarkable and undoubtedly rare group, with none of these four numerals recorded on Pence issues by Kimmel & Pearson (p. 308), although an example of "62" (on SG 68bx) was sold by SG some 15 years ago. - P223000038
