1868 (FE 12) cover from Lindsay to Picton, franked by 1859 5c deep red 'Beaver', exceptionally showing the R3/8 MAJOR RE-ENTRY, neatly cancelled by seven ring target which leaves much of the re-entry clear. Light despatch cds at lower left, with Picton arrival (FE 13) backstamp. The stamp a little off centre, still fine and a rarity on cover. - P201007593
