1938-52 set of 12 to $3 (marginal except $2, $3), perf "SPECIMEN" (type W8a, except 48c and 96c type W8 and the 1945 $2 and $3 type W9), unmounted o.g. The 48c with one short perf, still a fine and attractive set. [N.B. The 1c and $1 apparently with interpane margin at left (1c), or right from the original printer's double pane sheets, such as are never encountered with the issued stamps.
