Very fine prepaid incoming cover from Berlin, prepaid by a 1sgr. rose and pair of 3sgr. bistre tied by blue boxed Berlin railway station datestamps for JY.30.1866, with a red boxed 'Recomandirt' handstamp in centre. Also showing a large red 'P.D.' handstamp, Crown/REGISTERD handstamp of the Aachen transit office, the scarce PRUSSIA/Crown/REGISTERED handstamp of the London foreign branch and a Registered/London arrival datestamp for AU.1.1866. Two light horizontal filing folds, one through the 1sgr. adhesive. A very attractive incoming registered franking. - P223001250
