1848-59 British Post Office Abroad. Very fine pair of covers from this relatively short lived office that had closed before stamps were issued to the S. American offices. The first to Bordeaux, France with the Porto-Cabello double-arc datestamp in red for FE.3.1848, the second to London again cancelled with the double-arc cds but in black for MY.6.1859.
